“I designed Aviera 7-8 years ago, it was actually planned to be the second watch release for Nezumi, but at that point in time I found there was a lack of interesting and affordable GMT movements so it was put on hold and kind of fell through the cracks, until now. I dug up my old design files as soon as I heard from Seiko about a new GMT movement being launched, made some minor updates and landed on what you see here today. The name is a combination of two words, ‘aviation’ and the Swedish word ’navigera’ meaning to navigate. I thought that was a fun and fitting name for this travelers GMT watch”

ASSEMBLED IN GERMANY

With the world now being open for travel again, we thought that this should be celebrated with the release of our Automatic Aviera GMT watch. Aviera has an all brushed 40mm case with a fixed 24h bezel, 47mm lug to lug, 12mm thick excluding the double domed sapphire crystal ( 13.55mm at the center point of the domed sapphire ), 20mm lug width, screw down crown, water resistant to ( 20 ATM ) 200 m / 660 ft. As with all our watches, they are assembled, quality controlled and tested by highly skilled watchmakers in Germany.

AUTOMATIC GMT MOVEMENT

For the Aviera we have chosen to use the newly released Japanese Automatic GMT movement cal.NH34 by Seiko. This self-winding GMT movement has 40+ hours of power reserve when fully wound. Chosen for its reliability, our goal is always to offer high quality watchmaking with no cut corners at an affordable price point making the NH34 GMT movement a fantastic option for the Aviera.

GREAT LEGIBILITY IN ALL SITUATIONS

Aviera is offered with two dial colorways, black and teal blue. The dial markings, bright yellow GMT arrow, hour, minute and seconds hands have our custom cream colored Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova® for great legibility in all lighting situations.
